Conspec is proud to offer the specialized equipment manufactured by GTA out of Germany. GTA offers more than three decades in manufacture and accident-free operation of boom-mounted work platforms of “Upper Level” machine systems in mining and tunneling. Recently, with new technology incorporated into the GTA equipment, it is offering solutions even on the floor of tunnels.
GTA has developed trackless vehicles with work platforms for heavy loads and for extreme long reach, complying with the needs of large tunnel cross sections. Special attention was given to the strict compliance with actual global regulations and norms to avoid accidents. Thus GTA has transformed their successful “Safety First” strategy from the “Upper Level” to the floor, providing safety all through a tunneling project.
Today GTA manufactures a range of different utility vehicles for tunneling, all based on a standard vehicle. This basic vehicle can be equipped with different work platforms which can carry heavy loads at extreme extension. From these work platforms, different tasks such as support setting and installation of steel arches can be performed, and/or if equipped with an integrated shotcrete-manipulator, shotcreting. Among others, the vehicles feature a ROPS and FOPS approved cabin and engine according to the exhaust regulations.
